Real Work, Real Pay
What it is
We believe everyone can work in a real job with real pay. We find jobs that are meaningful, valued and the right fit for the person and the employer.
Real jobs start with listening. Our Person‑Centred Employment Plan is how we do that. We work with you and the people who know you best to build your Person‑Centred Employment Plan (PCEP). Your plan will tell our Job Developers what you’re good at, what you would like to do and what support you will need at work.
Our Job Developers are out in the community building relationships with local businesses to understand how their workplace operates and identify needs and opportunities that are a good fit for you.We then provide practical, on‑the‑job support for both you and your employer. Once your job is in place, we will support you in the background and help build supports and relationships within your workplace.
What it isn’t
Unlike other services, we don’t spend time on classroom-based job-readiness skills. We
don’t have work crews. We don’t run or recommend disability enterprises. We believe that
all people already have skills that employers need and it is our job to make the match.
